We have excellent transport connections with two train lines serving London’s Liverpool Street and London Fenchurch Street stations in under 50 minutes, whilst the expanding London Southend Airport serves one million international passengers every year connecting to multiple European destinations.
Our schools are among the top performers in the country and both Further and Higher education establishments are based locally, along with the renowned Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust teaching hospital.
